when mango arrived on the scene, our diy clients had already started tearing apart this lovely old mount pleasant home. they were stuck on what would be the best solution to enhance livability of the main floor space. we decided to remove the walls dividing the kitchen, dining and living rooms and create one brighter, friendlier space.

mango designed a retro-modern kitchen with slab panel wood cabinetry in a combination of robin’s egg blue, white & birch plywood. stainless steel shelving compliments the appliances & charcoal penny rounds complete the look. i love this kitchen… especially paired with the rustic, wide-plank, oiled oak floors.

the man-of-the-house is a pilot so you might notice a nod to the aviation world in the furnishings and custom artwork. we love the efficient, stand-alone wood burning stove… and no tv!
